Will Golang Replace Java?

To an extent.

I’m seeing use of Java, C#, Go, Python in my area as the main server-side languages.

What about Kotlin. That is the most obvious “better Java”. Go really isn’t that. It is a somewhat different thing.

But in the sense that there are more choices today, and Java is not the only one, then yes - other things will be used instead of it.
