Will JavaScript Ever Be Replaced In Web Development?

Yes, I think so. Give WebAssembly 10 years and I don’t think there will be that many new projects being started in JavaScript.

I think WebAssembly right now is just on the cusp for going from nobody using it, to a mainstream option. Once you’ve programmed the web in something like C#, or Go, JavaScript will seem like a distant hellscape.
